When we talk about AI, we usually talk about intelligence, power, progress, but that is not enough. If we really want to understand AI, we have to look at it from every angle, philosophical, environmental, psychological, ethical, physical, economic, cultural... because AI is not just a machine it is a system affecting everything around us, Ai really is a mirror reflecting who we are, it takes our data our human data human decisions human biases and gives them back faster stronger and less emotion, help us built what we imagine, but the real problem is what if what we imagine is broken what if the data that are fed to the ai are broken? what if we are justifying it with our biases, our laziness and greed? and in that case yes it traps us, AI is not good or bad it is energy like fire it could warm us or burn us, a knife it can heal or kill, what matters is how we use it, for example radiation over the years it helped us cure diseases help people save lives, but in the same time take many lives because it was weaponised "Bad Use" same thing for AI it doesn't have a heart it doesn't make values this is our job and if we fail in it we will lose what make us humans, Plato said people live in a cave, watching shadows on the wall, thinking they are real, AI might become the new shadows, we scroll we believe but the truth is behind the screen and it is our job to look for it if we are lazy AI will make us more lazy if we are smart AI make us smarter the system doesn't choose it reflects, so the correct answer here is not whatever AI is good or bad it is what are we feeding it, what do we want from it, what kind of people we becoming because of it? now for Aristotle he talked about purpose every tool has a purpose a knife can be used to cook or kill, fire can warm a house or burn it to ashes, so what is AI purpose? that depends on the user, if we use it to help doctors, to predict disasters, to teach kids, that is good but if we use it to lie, to spy, to kill , to control, to brain wash, to mislead that is bad, so the real debate isn't just about AI it is about power, who owns it? who built it? who benefits from it? we can't be Oppenheimer, for Kant, he believed we should never treat humans like tools, but if we are not careful AI will help turn people into tools, people will stop being individuals with value they would be just data points, stats, and that is why Nietzsche warn us here "don't just follow the crowd to what is normal" we can't let AI decide what truth is, Don't let it take our thinking our minds we must stay humans not become machines copies after all AI and quantum computing or just the machine copy of us trying to replace us but neve succeed, now from a different non philosophical angle AI isn't made of air every usage has a big bad impact on the environments emitting CO2 eating electricity wasting waters, so actually no Ai isn't clean because t us digital it runs on rare minerals, mined in poor countries processed in toxic companies cooled with water we need for drinking, the earth pays a price for every free ai tool we use, now in physics energy can't be created or destroyed it only changes forms and that is the same case for AI the energy we give it data goals idea will never disappear, it will come back at us stronger, feed it hate and it organize hate feed it beauty and it will multiply beauty, AI is like entropy it increases the more we feed it chaos, if we don't control the input the output becomes unpredictable and dangerous, now how it impact us, our brains so it is already changing how we think, but we started to forget how to create, read, focus, question, solve problems and that because the algorithm gives us what we like not what we need, psychology shows that humans adapt to machines, we start trusting suggestions more than our logic, when google tells you where to go we don't question it, when TikTok shows us content we don't resist we are like sheep in a farm, and that is not intelligence it is surrender and AI feeds on surrounded, by all this I am not trying to influence anything about AI I am not saying it is bad or good but I am just saying we need to ask our self what kind to future are we building, a smart future where AI helps doctors, teachers, scientists, to a cold one where AI replaces them and help in wars and killing, a free future where we use AI with responsibility or a controlled one where AI makes our decisions before we even think? it all depends on us not on the tech. We are the future not the AI
